Shipments

For shipments, you can use the Spotler Connect plugin in two ways:

To import Track & Trace information from Spotler Connect into WooCommerce
To create Track & Trace information in WooCommerce and propagate this to Spotler Connect. We recommend this if you use your shop as a fulfilment source for external platforms, such as Amazon. Spotler Connect will automatically propagate the Track & Trace information to the order source platform.

Creating shipments in WooCommerce

When you activate the plugin, an extra column named 'Shipments' will be created on the order detail page. This column allows you to fill out a Shipment Provider, a Tracking link and a Tracking number for the shipment. As soon as you save the shipment, it will be created in both WooCommerce and Spotler Connect.

Track & Trace information in WooCommerce will be processed through the default settings in WooCommerce. Usually this means that the information will be collected in a table, that will be sent to the customer along with the 'order completed' notification. When the shipment is created in Spotler Connect, Spotler Connect will automatically propagate the Tracking information to the order source if applicable.
